The verdict

Graham's Florist is a long-standing Acocks Green shop that has decided, apparently deliberately, not to exist online. It appears in the Birmingham Post directory, in Yell, in 118118, in Central Index, always at 302 Fox Hollies Road with the same 0121 number, and nowhere else. No website, no social account, no price list, no photographs of the work. That is a defensible position for a neighbourhood shop on a residential road. Fox Hollies Road runs through settled Acocks Green housing and the customers are people who pass the window, not people who search. A shop like that survives on being there, being open and being fine, and the fact that it has been listed at this address for many years suggests it manages all three. It does mean I can tell you very little, and I would rather say that than invent it. I have scored it as a competent local shop with an unusually poor ordering experience for anyone not standing in front of it, and the low delivery, range and occasion marks reflect an absence of published information rather than any finding about the work. If you live in Acocks Green you will already know whether this shop is good. If you do not, there is no way to find out except by going.

The shop trades from 302 Fox Hollies Road in Acocks Green. It is listed as a florist across the major Birmingham business directories with a consistent address and telephone number over a long period. No website, opening hours, price range, delivery policy or founding date is published anywhere I could find.

Best for

People who live on or near Fox Hollies Road. This is a shop for the neighbourhood it stands in, and there is no particular reason for anyone else to seek it out.

What I would order

Phone, or walk in. Ask what they have and what it costs, because you will not find either out any other way.

Worth knowing

There is essentially no public information: no website, no hours, no prices, no delivery detail. Ring before travelling. The scores here should be read as provisional and reflecting an evidence gap.

Appears in every Birmingham trade directory and has no website of its own at all.

Who it is not for

Anyone ordering remotely. Fiesta Flowers is under a mile away on Shaftmoor Lane, publishes its prices, and is a British Florist Association member.

How it compares

Williams Florist in Erdington is the same phenomenon at greater scale: a long-established shop with no digital presence whatsoever. Williams has ninety years of record behind it to justify the confidence; Graham's has considerably less.

Getting there

Fox Hollies Road, Acocks Green, on the 11 outer circle route. Acocks Green station is about half a mile away and there is on-street parking nearby.

Where this assessment comes from

Desk research only, and the thinnest evidence base in this guide alongside Bloomin Lovely. The address and phone number are corroborated across four independent directories. Nothing else about the business is published, and the scores are set conservatively for that reason rather than on any assessment of the flowers.

Sources consulted: The Birmingham Post business directory record, Yell's Graham's Florist listing, the 118118 Acocks Green entry, and Central Index's company record, all carrying the same Fox Hollies Road address and telephone number.

This is a desk-based, opinion-led write-up, not an inspection: I have not audited this business, tested a delivery, or spoken to the owner. Everything above is one person’s reading of information that anyone can look up, and none of it represents the views of the owner of this domain. If you run this shop and something here is wrong or out of date, please tell me and I will fix it.
